1 – Registration

1.1 Key Town Swing uses Google Forms for all its registrations. Read more about how we protect your data under Privacy and Handling of Data.

1.2 If you disagree with anything stated in these Terms and Conditions or in our Privacy Statement, feel free to contact us, or to write this in the designated box in the registration form.

1.3 Filling in a registration form does not automatically guarantee your admission. We try to get a good balance of leaders and followers, and classes need a minimum of eight dancers to start.

1.4 When registering as a couple, both partners need to fill in a separate registration form.

2 – Payment

2.1 Payment information will be emailed to you after registration. This email includes a clear deadline, as this information can vary per event or activity.

2.2 Payment is to be made to RJE Smits (see Business Information). Account holder: RJE SMITS IBAN: NL43 KNAB 0257 6014 49

2.3 For subscriptions, it is possible to pay in installments, which will be tailored to your needs. A handling fee of €2,50 is added per installment. The full price will be disclosed in your payment email, so there are no hidden fees.

3 – Cancellation

3.1 These cancellation policies are general. Please check the registration form for any specific cancellation policies. Cancelling your registration is possible through email, phone call or WhatsApp/SMS text message.

3.2 For courses: Cancelling at least 48 hours before the first class, will get you a full refund. Any later cancellations will give you a 75% refund, minus the full rate per class of each class within that course that has passed.

3.3 For workshops: Cancelling at least 48 hours before the workshop will get you a full refund. Cancelling between 48 and 24 hours before the workshop will get you a 50% refund. Day-of cancellations and no-shows are subject to the full rate.

3.4 For parties and events, other cancellation policies will apply. This will be clearly stated in the registration form.

3.5 Cancellations by Key Town Swing will always be met with a fitting solution. In most cases this means either rescheduling or reimbursement.

4 – Responsibilities

4.1 Key Town Swing’s teachers are instructors. They have knowledge of the various swing dances, and will give instructions to the students. All students are responsible for interpreting these instructions reasonably. Key Town Swing is in not responsible for any injuries that may occur during classes, workshops, social dances, or any other events.

5 – Privacy and Handling of Data

5.1 During classes, workshops, social dances and other Key Town Swing events, your teachers and/or especially appointed photographers and/or videographers may take pictures and videos that you can be in. These pictures and videos can be posted on social media, our website and may be used in print, such as posters, flyers and booklets.

5.2 When registering for a private event (this includes classes and workshops), you will be asked to agree with our Terms and Conditions. In doing so, you agree to the use of these pictures and videos as stated.

5.3 Key Town Swing works with Google Forms for registrations. All your personal data is protected in Google Suite, the business version of Google Drive. This means Google does not get to use or sell your data for directing ads or any other (third party) use.

5.4 Your data will be used solely for contacting you about the event (such as classes, workshops and parties) you registered for. In case of classes, this may include a one-time email to remind you of registrations for the new block of classes.

5.5 All your data except for your email address will be deleted 12 months after your last registration. Your email address will then still be used for sending information emails regarding classes and other events. You can have your email address removed from our list by sending an email to info@keytownswing.nl.

6 – Business information
